A member asked:

My reverse t3, (liothyronine) serum is 35ng/dl. it seems really high for my age (35/m), with normal blood pressure. any suggestions on how to lower rt3?

Not a valid test: You may be reading too much nonsense on the internet. Reverse t3 (liothyronine) has little to no value in the diagnosis, treatment, or monitoring of thyroid disorders. It has very limited value as a diagnostic test in people with "sick euthyroid" syndrome. Any symptoms you have are not related to this level.
