Psychiatrist: Hello, make sure you are seeing a psychiatrist because such a person knows the many different medication options. And then be assertive with the prescriber about what you are feeling and don't like about what you take.

TIME: Meds take time to work. If they aren't working and it has been weeks or months other meds should be tried. Many times two or more are needed together. See a psychiatrist with experience in treating bipolar disorders. If you are seeing dr already, encourage him to try more.
