You may need exam: Sore throats are generally caused by viruses or bacteria. The former will resolve in time and with the help of supportive measures like rest, fluids, green tea, etc. The latter (bacteria) may require antibiotics which would nee to be determined by a doctor and prescribed by them , etc. Best wishes.
