Probably..it depends: 31 y/o really shouldn't be needing this medication to begin with. If you think you do you should probably get a good general medical evaluation with a primary care provider. If your BP remains high you may need to be treated for that. Yes, transient blindness has been reported as a side effect of these medications. All the more reason to be careful and be seen by a doctor before taking any meds.

You need more info: You obviously haven't done enough research! talk to the doctor who is treating your blood pressure to find out if it is safe for you to take cialis. Cialis does not cause blindness but it can affect your vision. Learn more before you take it!

Rare side effect.: In most instances of hypertension, except when an Alpha blocking drug is used, Cialis or viagra (sildenafil) can be used. However, because these 2 drugs can further lower blood pressure, it would be prudent to check ones own blood pressure sitting and standing approximately 30-60 minutes after taking the erectile dysfunction drug. Stop the drug and contact an ophthalmologist for any (rare) visual symptom.
