Yes: As long as they are not bloody, or tarry. The gas that is pumped into your large intestines can cause you to have more bowel movements the day or two after the colonoscopy. If you are having any pain, other abdominal changes, consult your GI doc as soon as possible. Hope that helps!

Common complaint: Most people return to the same bowel habits after a procedure like this but a few notice more frequent stooling. This should return to your baseline with resumption of a regular diet and activity. If you had an antibiotic for the procedure you may have diarrhea associated with that. If this doesn't resolve in a couple of weeks or if you have fever, bleeding or nighttime diarrhea, see your dr.
