Antispasmodic: The centrally acting muscle relaxants relieve acute musculoskeletal pain by reducing muscle contraction and are most effective when used adjunctively to rest and physical medicine. They are often prescribed in combination with other drugs such as nsaids, Acetaminophen or caffeine. There are other agents (ex.Cyclobenzaprine), with a sedative effect (will maintain sleep).

No: Imo Robaxin (methocarbamol) has little value. You are already over the maximum dose. Stop it if it is not working at the dose you are already taking. Your doctor needs to find a better solution.
