Normal: As people age it is normal to get vertical ridgesand splitting of the nails. Some people believe that if you use a moisturizer around the cuticles this will help.

Get checked to know.: Split nails =onychoschizia, which can occur due to overexposure! Causes may include lack of humidity or prolonged submersion in water or other fluids.
