What is bpp test in pregnancy.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fetal testing: A bpp (biophysical profile) is a type of antenatal testing designed to determine the status of the fetus. It is offered to women who have high risk conditions such as diabetes, pprom, hypertension, etc. And is performed in the third trimester of pregnancy. It involves using an ultrasound to check certain fetal movements/activity and to measure the amount of fluid around the baby.
