How swollen?: It may be time to have a specialist take a look. A sinus infection could cause these symptoms. An ENT could tell you if the difference in the size of your tonsils is anything to worry about. A scope of your nose and possibly your throat may be in order to sort it all out. There are other viruses that act like mono that won't test positive for mono as well, and that could be what is going on.
