Ovulation bleed: A lot of times there is a small bleed at ovulation. Usually there is clear mucous mixed with it . Not a good time for unprotected sex unless you are seeking pregnancy. There's always a chance the bleeding was from trauma or cervical irritation, but if you don't want to chance pregnancy you might immediately look into plan b. ( morning after pill).
