See answer : The symptoms of an uncomplicated uti/bladder infection (urinary urgency, frequency, voiding small amounts, bladder discomfort, burning with urination, possible blood in urine) usually resolve within 3-5 days if both the diagnosis is correct (positive urine culture) and you were prescribed the correct antibiotic. If symptoms persist, should have a repeat urinalysis and urine culture to verify.
