Not normal: Your gyn will need to test for pregnancy (eg miscarriage or tubal pregnancy )with a blood sample as well as tests for infection and uterine disorders (polyps/fibroids etc).

Could be infection: Your symptoms may just be from an irregular period or you may have an infection. Best to see a gyn for evaluation.
