Hard to say: This is an observation that one side of the face is not the mirror image of the other. It is normal to some degree in most people. If excessive, it can be part of a named syndrome or other process influencing facial development. If other body areas were marked by abnormalities it would be more likely part of a problem.

Degree: Some facial asymmetry is perfectly normal. If you, as a non-professional can see the asymmetry, your child will need evaluation. Best to see pediatrician and pediatric dentist as starting points. Additional specialty evaluations may be in order. See if there's a crania-facial anomalies team @ a nearby children's hospital, such as akron children's.
