A member asked:

I have a trapped nerve in my back that causes pain to shoot down my arm. ibuprofen does not to work. how can i fix it?how can i relieve the pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Surgery: If it is a trapped nerve then an anti-inflammatory drug will decrease inflammation but not fix the nerve. Surgery will fix the trapping. I would have a physical therapist work to make certain it is not an issue with a muscle group - and then see a neurologist.
