A 18-year-old female asked:

do i have to worry when i was not on my period for the first three months after a change of lifestyle?

Possibly.: Not sure what your lifestyle change has been for the last three months, but only the most *dramatic* changes (extreme weight loss, becoming a hardcore runner, etc) might cause your menstrual cycle to stop. If you have been sexually active, you need to check a pregnancy test because one of the most common reasons for no menstrual cycle is pregnancy. If you haven't, time to see a doctor to evaluate.

Many things: This is a problem that requires a face-to-face meeting with your doctor. In that meeting, your doctor will listen to you, perform a throrough examination and possibly order labs or other tests. Based on this information, he/she will be able to tell you what's wrong and what to do about it.

A 39-year-old female asked:

My period after termination came 7weeks after the procedure and are very heavy. I have to change the sanitary towel every 2 hours. Is it normal?

Yes, it can be: It can be quite normal for it to be late and somewhat heavier. I would monitor your symptoms and call your doctor if bleeding does not seem to subside. Certainly call if you have fevers or feel unwell, as there can be a risk of retained products. If things seem relatively normal (preceded by pms symptoms etc), then i would expect your normal cycles to resume.
