Probably cured: The pathologist will let your surgeon know whether there was any cancer on the edges of the specimen in case there's a need to go back, or if the cancer may have been more aggressive than had been thought. However, i've read a great many of these as a pathologist and the vast majority result in cures. You should start congratulating yourself, perhaps have a party. Best wishes.

Hopefully, No: That was the purpose in doing cone biopsy ...To eliminate any precancer cells. You still need to be monitored as we can not 100% eliminate the risk of cancer, but we expect you to do well and remain trouble free.

Wait for the report: All depends on your biopsy report , if you do not have invasion into deeper layers , ( as in cancer ) only superficial you may not need any other treatment except regular observation visit. Your doctor will disuse with you after the report is available , if you are nervous and unable to understand the issue (s) take some one like your mother with you , if you give permission doctor will explain to.
