A member asked:

Severe cerebral hemorrhage after minor trauma. is that due to blood clot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not.: Blood clots are the result of hemorrhage or blood stasis, not the other way around. Minor trauma could theoretically cause a cerebral hemorrhage if there was a pre-existing aneurysmal weakness in the blood vessel wall. Sometimes these can be congenital, and sometimes these are due to vascular disease (e.g., atherosclerosis, diabetes type ii).
