No: Although nausea and oftentimes vomiting is common in pregnancy, particularly in the first three months, burping is not a cause. If your stomach is upset to begin with, it is possible that burping could trigger or lead to vomiting making it seem like burping "caused" the vomiting.

Sluggish stomach: In pregnancy it is common to have delayed emptying of the stomach which may cause burping and nausea. Eating fatty or oily foods makes it worse.
