No and yes: Only people who have had a herpetic infection witll have herpes igg. Chickenpox, cmv, mono, cold sores (herpes simplex1) are all herpetic infections. Usually we do igg for the specific infection...It is feasible that chickenpox might produce a weak igg titer...You can ask the lab for more specific information.
