Tongue pain.: The tongue has a tough surface. It is abraided all day long. Occasionally, the side is scuffed or bitten during active chewing. It usually heals within 24-48 hrs. Any persistent sore in the mouth needs a thorough evaluation, and an accurate history of how it started, how long has it lasted so far, have you had these before...Etc. Seek a professional.
