Autograft: There are several choices for a graft for acl reconstruction: patellar tendon autograft, hamstring autograft, and allograft. Studies show that taking an autograft in a young patient has a lower rate of re-tear as compared to an allograft, so that would be your best option. Between hamstring and patellar tendon, the jury is still out, and i would go with the one your surgeon recommends.

There are a few, --: Like 1: patella-tendon-bone, from the front of the knee, taken from patient's knee;
2: hamstrings tendons, taken from the patient's knee are;
3: cadaveric achilles tendon.
Discuss with your orthopod as he'll be using the type he thinks would be the best for you.
Good luck.
