STD complication? : Pelvic inflammatory disease (pid) usually caused by untreated chlamydia or gonorrhea or other infection. The disease spreads by vaginal and anal intercourse, and rarely, oral sex. Very rare is not a sexually transmitted infection. Rec.: see your pcp for the diagnosis and treatment.
