Migraine: The most common cause of such symptoms at your age would be occipital migraine in which there are visual defects in 1/'2 of the vision, flashing lights and other visual changes. The condition lasts minutes to 2 hours in most cases with restoration to normal afterwards. Headache can be associated but many occur without headache.
