Eustachian tube: It is not common to develop repeated ear infections at age 42. All ear infections are secondary to obstruction of the eustachian tube and you could have had these infections frequently as a child. If these are truly ear infections, you must see and ENT doctor for an evaluation, an explanation and treatment.
