A member asked:

Would benadryl (diphenhydramine) work for my mild sa?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

?sa: I am going to assume "sa" is seasonal allergies. So, yes, Benadryl (diphenhydramine) would work for these, but is certainly not the optimal answer. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) tends to be sedating and also needs to be taken 4 times a day for optimal effect. If you are having to take doses that often to keep symptoms under control, should consider alternative treatment for allergies. If "sa" not allergies, please resubmit question.
