It's possible: Any disease in close proximity to the frontal skull base (i.e. "eye sockets") can irritate the linings of the adjacent membranes through inflammation, distortion, compression or infiltration of the structures. Tumors are not the only cause. If you're worried, get it checked out. Start with a neurologist, ent, or ophthalmologist depending upon any associated symptoms.
