Depends on wt loss: Excess skin after bariatric surgery depends on several factors, the rate and amount of weight lost, skin tone. It is not dependent on the type of bariatric surgery, per se, although lap band surgery is generally not associated with the degree of weight loss that a gastric bypass is. In cases of excessive skin after weight loss, body contouring may be considered.

That depends on: how much weight you lose, as well as your age, and body shape. At some point when the skin is stretched beyond a certain degree, it will not be able to return to its previous shape. A lot of my patients do end up with a little excess skin, but the degree is variable and depends on their weight loss. Toning and exercise helps, but only to a certain degree. Plastic surgery is an option for some.
