Lap band removal: Surgery to remove the lap band is fairly easy to do and the complication rates are low (assuming you go to a very experienced surgeon). If you decide to have a gastric bypass or sleeve gastrectomy later, that is much more difficult because of all the scar tissue you developed from having the lap band.
