Hydrocephalus: Hydrocephalus is a situation where too much fluid has accumulated within the brain. The treatment is based on what caused the hydrocephalus first. Treatment can include removing an obstructive lesion, placement of a shunt to divert the fluid from the brain to the abdomen among other options.
