Surgery: Bottle or lord operations are performed through the scrotum. Excess hydrocele sac is excised with bottle procedure and remaining sac is everted and sutured together behind the testis. Hydrocele is incised and rolled up ; sutured on either side of testis with lord procedure. Communicating hydroceles are corrected through the groin ; patent communication, .If present, is divided.
