A member asked:

I had my eye exam the other day, and i have one far-sighted eye, and one near-sighted eye. is this rare?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Refractive error: Is the medical term for nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism. Although more common for both eyes to be similar, it's not that uncommon for you to have different refractive errors between your two eyes.
