Not long lasting: I'm assuming that you are applying the raw egg as a topical agent. Anything that irritates the skin can cause inflammation and a temporary skin smoothening. There are better temporary options, Retin-A for example. The real key is "what are your expectations?" For a better set of options, you should see a dermatologist or plastic surgeon in your area.
