I'm wondering why can myocarditis be considered an infectious disease?

Infectious myocardit: Myocarditis means inflammation of the heart. This can be caused by viruses or other infectious agents and these are infectious myocarditis. Myocarditis can also be caused by inflammatory diseases like lupus erythematosus which is not infectious but has a different etiology.
