HARD TO ANSWER: Because there are different kinds of glomerulonephritis and many many different causes for fever, it is very difficult to give you an advice besides seeing your doc. He/she will need to do a thorough exam and lab as needed to make a decision. It is not advisable to manage this with observation. For instance, a simple strep throat left untreated may even cause another glomerulonephritis.
