A member asked:

Please explain if it is possible for anaplastic astrocytoma to reoccur two weeks after surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not usually: Two weeks after surgery, it may be hard to differentiate between post-operative changes and residual tumor. However, two weeks would not typically be enough time for a recurrence.
