Dr. William Trattler answered

Specializes in LASIK Surgery

Thin corneas ; LASIK: Thin corneas are not by themselves a reason to not be a candidate for lasik. Many thin cornea patients can have lasik - as long as their corneal topography is normal and their level of myopia and/or astigmatism is relatively low. Your doctor will perform tests to see whether lasik is an appropriate procedure based on many factors. Best of luck!
