Is it true that an arterial blood gas of 92% is bad?

Yes: Its not horribly bad but bad enough that something has to be done to raise the oxygen level in the hemoglobin. We consider the oxygen to be low at 60 which coincides with a blood gas of 90 thus at 92 you are nearing a bad level
