Red eyes: Depending on the cause of redness and accompanying
symptoms and signs. If it is bothersome or increases consult your physician. It could be a simple sub conjunctival hemorrhage
Hope this helps.

Many causes: Causes include ocular allergy, dry eye, ocular inflammation (iritis), infection (conjunctivitis), eyelid inflammation or infection (blepharitis), broken blood vessels (subconjunctival hemorrhage), and many more. An eye exam by an ophthalmologist can determine the cause and suggest appropriate treatment. Randomly using OTC "get the red out drops" is not advised, as these do not treat the cause.
