Hydrocephalus: Your cerebral spinal fluid is all connected brain and spinal cord. If you are born with this you have a blockage of the normal flow of the fluid. There are many syndromes which can be associated with this and it can be acquired if as a newborn you had some sort of bleeding in your head which can block the flow. Usually a shunt will be placed surgically to relieve this problem.
