Second opinion: What was the diagnosis then? Was this a dentist, tmj/tmd specialist, md or do? I would get a second opinion just in case.

Limited opening?: I assume by "jaw tightness" you mean restricted oral opening. Can be a number of things. See an oral surgeon who may take special xrays to help diagnosis. Treatment would depend on causation.
