Please help! what is the difference between an absorbable and non-absorbable suture kit?

Sutures: Absorbable sutures, like vicryl, dissolve in the body over time. Non-absorbably sutures, like prolene, do not dissolve. If you came back in 10 years, they would still be there. Hope this helps.
