Please help! what is the condition when the testes remain in the stomach at birth?

Dr. James Lin answered

Undescended testis..: This condition is called cryptorchidism or undescended testis, happening to some 3-4 % of newborn males at birth. At one yr after birth, its incidence becomes some 1%. The main concern is more likely to develop testicular cancer by some 40 x of normally descended testis, so surgical reposition (orchiopexy) is recommended before puberty or as early as possible for easy testicular self-examination.
