A member asked:

In what way can i stop taking hydrocodone?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Any number of ways: Depends on how much you were taking for how long. Opioid withdrawal, in otherwise healthy people, is usually not associated with the kind of problems you see with alcohol or benzos - seizures, delirum etc., but it can be very painful and unpleasant, and sometimes nausea and diarrhea can be a real problem. Tylenol, (acetaminophen) motrin, pepto bismal, and Clonidine (needs rx) can help. It's better with prof help!
