It feels like i have a black eye but there is no bruise and i haven't injured myself. what could it be?

??black eye???: Was there an injury? If so, unless blood vessles break, and bleeding occurs within the tissue, no black eye occurs. However, can still have bruising of tissue and nerves, which can be uncomfortable.
