A member asked:

Is low grade fever normal following incision and drainage of anorectal abscess?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low grade fever: Is common after any operation that involves general anesthesia, but it really depends how high it is. If it goes above 101, contact your surgeon. You might need to be on antibiotics to control infection in the abscess area.
