A member asked:

Is it true that aspartame is dangerous to human health?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: You can read all kinds of nonsense on the internet and wild paranoid theories, but there are no true studies that say that aspartame is dangerous to humans (unless you have phenylketonuria, a rare disorder). The fda would remove it from the market if it was truly thought to be dangerous. The best rule of thumb is "everything in moderation".
