Halothane/EPI: Halothane is rarely used anymore - perhaps in some under-developed countries. Halothane is known to sensitize the heart muscle to the arrhythmogenic effects of drugs such as epinephrine. I am not aware of any studies (human) stating specifically the maximum recommended dose. It is best to not expose a patient to halothane.
