Fever from virus.: Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference when they both can cause a sore throat and runny nose. But if you have a fever + sore throat/runny nose, it's likely from a virus. Rest, chicken soup, salt water gargles. Get well soon!

Usually not: Allergy symptoms generally do not cause fever to occur. However; in some cases of severe allergy reactions, an elevated low grade temperature may occur due to an inflammation reaction by the body. Antibiotics are not necessary and controlling allergy symptoms is important. Keep hydrated as well.
