Rinse it: You can rinse it in water after you are finished. You can also dip it in some mouthwash and then let it air dry.

Toothbrush cleaning: A 12 year old figured out the answer years ago and was awarded a civic medal by the ada. Put the brush in the dishwasher for one cycle. It will be good for about two weeks. Don't however continue to use a brush with crushed flaired bristles. It won't get the job done. Best.
