Benign tumor: Cementomas are benign jaw tumors that originate from periodontal ligament. They will look like a mass on a dental x-ray.

Cementoma: Generally benign and require no treatment. Teeth with cementomas test vital (alive and well) despite the shadow (blk) on the xray.
